Jak žáci hodnotí hospodářské mapy ve školních atlasech?

| dc.description.abstract | Cílem článku je diskutovat výsledky hodnocení hospodářských map ve školních atlasech žáky základních a středních škol v souvislosti s názory učitelů zeměpisu a zároveň výsledky jiných empirických šetření. Výsledky šetření metodou dotazníku a didaktického testu mezi 193 respondenty ukazují, že alfanumerické kartografické znaky se značkami chemických prvků používané v atlasech Kartografie Praha jsou méně vhodné pro žáky základních škol. V závěru článku jsou představeny dvě učební aktivity, které mohou přispět k pochopení koncepce map těžby nerostných surovin. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | Economic-geographical maps are an important structural component of school atlases. Their quality is criticized by teachers and experts (cartographers) for unreadability, overcrowding and inadequacy of the content maps of pupils‘ age. The problem is the absence of a user assessment of economic maps that can give the atlas authors feedback on the usability of this cartographic work. The user assessment between 193 responses from secondary schools by questionnaire and didactic test showed that the map key of mining map is inappropriate for lower secondary school pupils; they were unable to identify most of the cartographic signs, and because in the questionnaire items of the research tool identified other mining signs as more appropriate than signs used in the current school atlases from Kartografie Praha. The results of the survey show that it would be appropriate to issue school atlases separately for lower and upper secondary schools. It would be appropriate to revise the content of the economic maps in school atlases with regard to the adequacy of pupils at the lower secondary schools. | en |
