dc.description.abstractV 19. století patřil Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz k nejvýznamnějším německým přírodovědcům. Jeho zájem o fyziku byl od mládí tak silný, že přetrval i během studia lékařství, ke kterému ho donutil otec. Právě propojení poznatků z fyziky a fyziologie způsobilo, že se už za svého života proslavil výzkumy a pozdější podrobnou analýzou funkce nejdůležitějších smyslových orgánů – oka a ucha.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedIn the 19th century Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz belonged to the most acclaimed German scientists. His interest in physics was so extensive since his youth that it persisted even during his medical studies, which his father forced him to complete. It is the combination of knowledge from physics and physiological competence that that made his research famous already during his lifetime, followed by a detailed function analysis of the most important sense organs – eye and ear.en
