dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na číslo \recke{pi} a hlavním tématem je odhad čísla \recke{pi}. Práce zkoumá aproximace čísla \recke{pi} v minulosti a v moderní době. Kapitoly jsou zaměřeny na výpočetní metody čísla \recke{pi} a jejich objevitele. Jedna z kapitol je zvláště věnována matematikovi Srinivasaovi Ramanujanovi a jeho konvergentním řadám. Všechny metody jsou vysvětleny a ukázány na příkladech, kdy byl pro usnadnění výpočtu využit matematický software. Závěrečná část práce je věnována současným poznatkům o čísle \recke{pi} - zajímavostem a rekordům ve výpočtech.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis is focused on the number \recke{pi} and the main topic is the estimation of the number \recke{pi}. The study examines the approximation of \recke{pi} throughout the history and modern period. One of the chapters is especially dedicated to the mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and his numerical series. Other chapters focus on the calculation methods of \recke{pi} and their discoveries. All methods are explained and demonstrated on examples and for computation mathematical software was used. The final part is devoted to the current knowledge of the number \recke{pi} - records and interest in calculation.en
