dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá latinskou terminologií otrokářství a služby v nejstarší české hagiografii a historiografii. Pojmosloví bylo analyzováno v legendách Fuit in provincia Bohemorum, Crescente fide, v Gumpoldově a Kristiánově legendě, ve vojtěšských legendách Est locus a Nascitur purpureus flos a také v Kosmově Kronice Čechů. Zároveň jsme porovnali, jakým způsobem volí termíny hagiograf a jakým historiograf. V teoretické části jsme uvedli stručný přehled dostupných informací o otrokářství v raněstředověkých Čechách a shrnuli jsme názory odborníků na vymezení termínů týkajících se otroků. V praktické části práce jsme se pokusili nastínit možnou autorovu motivaci pro volbu daného termínu ve vybraných dílech. Naším cílem bylo také porovnat české překlady a uvažovat, co vedlo filology k rozdílným výkladům týchž výrazů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with Latin terminology of slavery and service in the oldest Czech hagiography and historiography. Terminology was analyzed in the legends Fuit in provincia Bohemorum, Crescente fide, Gumpold´s and Kristian´s legend, in the legends of St. Vojtech (Adalbert), namely Est locus and Nascitur purpureus flos, and Chronica Boemorum from the historiographer Kosmas, which was compared with the occurrence of the terms in the legends. In the theoretical part we introduces brief overview of available information on slavery in early Middle Ages Bohemia. Then we summarize opinions of experts on the definition of terms relating to slavery. In the practical part we especially try to outline the possible author´s motivation for using the term and to compare the occurence of individual terms in selected legends. Our goal was also to compare the Czech translations of investigated terminology and determine what was the reason for different interpretations of the same expressions.en
