dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá mapováním receptivní slovní zásoby u žáků pátých tříd prvního stupně šesti základních škol v Plzeňském kraji. Výzkumu se zúčastnilo celkem 119 respondentů a ke sběru dat sloužily dotazníky a internetový test Picture Vocabulary Size Test vytvořený Anthony Laurencem a Paulem Nationem. Bylo zjištěno, že nejvíce žáků dosahuje rozsahu slovní zásoby kolem 1 200 - 2 000, dalších 34 % žáků se pohybuje v rozmezí 2 200 - 3 000. Na základě výsledků porovnaných s tabulkou Miltona a Alexiou (2009) lze tvrdit, že téměř všichni žáci dosahují požadované úrovně A1 stanovené RVP ZV. Valná většina ba dokonce úrovní A2 a B1, dva jedinci až úrovně C1. Dále byl potvrzen značný vliv počátku výuky anglického jazyka na získanou úroveň a také účinek mimoškolních aktivit souvisejících s anglickým jazykem na zlepšení rozsahu slovní zásoby. Nejvíce byl potvrzen u sledování platformy YouTube a aplikací Instagram/Tiktok. Naopak se neprokázal vliv u poslechu anglické hudby, používání ostatních aplikací či hraní videoher.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis graduate thesis deals with the mapping of the receptive vocabulary of fifth-grade students in six primary schools in the Pilsen region. 119 respondents took part in the research and questionnaires and an online Picture Vocabulary Size Test developed by Anthony Laurence and Paul Nation was used to collect data. It was found that most pupils reach a vocabulary range of around 1,200 - 2,000, with a further 34% of pupils in the 2,200 - 3,000 range. Based on the results compared with the table of Milton and Alexia (2009), it can be argued that almost all pupils reach the required level A1 set by the RVP ZV. The vast majority even reach A2 and B1 levels, with two individuals even reaching C1 level. Furthermore, the significant effect of the beginning of English language teaching on the level obtained was confirmed, as well as the effect of extra-curricular activities related to the English language on improving the vocabulary range. The most was confirmed for watching the YouTube platform and Instagram/TikTok applications. In contrast, no effect was shown for listening to English music, using other apps, or playing video games.en
