dc.description.abstractCíl: Cílem retrospektivní studie bylo zhodnotit výsledky ortodontické léčby u fixního a fóliového aparátu pomocí PAR indexu a porovnat efektivitu léčby pomocí TEI (treatment efficiency index, index účinnosti). Dalším cílem bylo srovnat počet okluzních kontaktů a zhodnotit paralelitu kořenů na ortopantomogramu. Materiál: Do souboru bylo zařazeno 80 pacientů, skupinu léčenou fóliovým aparátem typu Invisalign tvořilo 40 pacientů, stejně jako skupina léčena fixním aparátem. Metodika: U všech pacientů byl změřen PAR (Peer Assessment Rating) index před léčbou a po léčbě na digitálních modelech a na okluzogramu množství okluzních kontaktů. Paralelita kořenů u obou skupin před léčbou a po léčbě byla měřena na ortopantomogramu (OPG). Závěr: U obou skupin byly zjištěny po léčbě dobré výsledky, nicméně s vyšší kvalitou výsledku léčby u fixního aparátu. Doba léčby byla kratší u skupiny Invisalign. Množství okluzních kontaktů po léčbě bylo vyšší u skupiny pacientu léčených fixním aparátem. Lepší paralelita kořenů byla zjištěna u pacientu s fixními aparáty, s výjimkou dolního frontálního úseku, kde obě skupiny dosáhly podobného výsledku.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedAims: The retrospective study assessed outcomes of orthodontic treatment using fixed appliance and clear plastic aligner with PAR index, and compared effectiveness of the therapy with TEI (treatment efficiency index). Another aim was to compare the number of occlusal contacts and assess root parallelism in orthopantomogram. Material: The sample included 80 patients - 40 treated with fixed appliance, 40 with Invisalign. Method: PAR (Peer Assessment Rating) index was measured in all patients prior and after treatment in digital dental casts; the number of occlusal contacts was measured in occlusogram. Root parallelism was measured in OPG made prior and after the treatment. Conclusion: Results for both groups were acceptable. However, better quality results were achieved in the group treated with conventional fixed appliances. The length of treatment was shorter in the group treated with Invisalign. The number of occlusal contacts after the treatment was higher in patients treated with fixed appliance. Better root parallelism was found in patients with fixed appliance, the only exception being lower anterior segment where the results were similar in both groups.en
