| dc.description.abstract | Součástí Rámcového vzdělávacího programu pro základní vzdělávání jsou průřezová témata, která prostupují jednotlivými vzdělávacími oblastmi, reflektují aktuální problémy současného světa a přispívají k všestrannému rozvoji žáků. Mezi průřezová témata patří také mediální výchova, při které můžeme žáky mimo jiné učit využívat potenciál médií jako zdroje informací. Mezi média lze zařadit i dětské časopisy. V prvním a druhém ročníku malotřídní základní školy proběhla sonda, jejímž cílem byla analýza některých současných dětských časopisů z hlediska nalezení vhodných matematických činností, jejich zařazení do vyučování matematiky a reflexe žáků. Na základě vyhodnocení výsledků sondy bylo zjištěno, že pravidelné zařazování těchto aktivit zvýšilo motivaci žáků, jejich tempo a sebejistotu při výkonu různých matematických operací. Výhodou bylo i uplatňování individuálního přístupu k žákům se specifickými poruchami učení. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The Czech curriculum framework for elementary education contains cross-disciplinary topics which link together the single areas of education. These topics deal with current global issues and contribute to a well-rounded education. Media education, which teaches students how to use the potential of media as source of information, is one of such cross-disciplinary topics. Media education was the subject of a study that took place in the first and second year of a small elementary school with composite classes in Czechia. Its aim was to analyze several contemporary magazines for children for suitable mathematical activities. Furthermore, this study assessed the utility of these activities in mathematics education and children’s feedback in their regard. We discovered that regular use of these activities in education increased pupils’ motivation, speed and self-confidence when performing various mathematical operations. Enabling individual approach to children with learning disabilities was also an advantage. | en |
