dc.description.abstract-translatedThe creative economy, encompassing sectors such as art, design, media, and technology, is becoming an increasingly significant component of the modern economy. Thanks to rapid technological advancement and innovation, creative and cultural industries are emerging as key players not only in the cultural sphere but also within the economic context. The growth of these sectors is supported by both the private sector and government policies aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. In this context, the creative economy should be viewed as a critical factor for enhancing competitiveness and overall economic development. The article aims to assess the economic contribution of the creative economy to national economies, including job creation, innovation support, and competitiveness enhancement. Based on macroeconomic indicators, the article analyzes and evaluates the role of creative and cultural industries in economic growth and the development of new innovative sectors. The research focuses on the direct contribution of creative sectors to GDP, as well as their broader impact on long-term economic sustainability. The study reveals that creative and cultural industries, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, are key drivers of innovation and represent a significant portion of new jobs in modern economies. Emphasis is placed on the synergy between cultural and technological innovations, which leads to the growth of new business models. Furthermore, research results demonstrate that public policies aimed at supporting creative and cultural sectors can significantly contribute to long-term economic growth. The research provides new insights into the role of the creative economy in the development of national economies and offers strategies for enhancing its influence within economic policies.en
