| dc.description.abstract | Článek se zabývá vzájemným kontaktem deskripce, narace a performativních postupů při uměleckém zprostředkování zvířecích hlasů v uměleckých textech. Pozornost je věnována především etologickým prózám první poloviny 20. století (Seton, Williamson, Hawksworth) a jejich inspiraci starším přírodovědeckým diskursem (Brehm). Příspěvek vychází z konceptu zvířete jako obrazu „jiného“, přičemž deskripce tento rozdíl zdůrazňuje, zatímco při spojení s narativem se zvíře i se svým hlasem naopak stává součástí světa individualizovaných osob a událostí. Při využití performativních postupů někdy dochází k úmyslnému překročení této hranice a ke vstupu zvířecího chaosu a nepředvídatelnosti do lidského světa. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The paper focuses on the interaction between descriptivity, narrativity and performativity in the rendering of animal voices in fiction. In particular, attention is paid to the ethological fiction of the first half of the 20th century (Seton, Williamson, Hawksworth) and their inspiration by earlier naturalist discourse (Brehm). The paper is based on the concept of the animal as an image of the “other”, with description commonly emphasising this difference. Meanwhile, in conjunction with narrative, the animal and its voice become part of a world of individual persons and events. In the use of performative practices, this boundary is sometimes deliberately crossed and the chaos and unpredictability of the animal enter the human world. | en |
