dc.description.abstractCílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit úroveň vyspělosti útvaru Supply Chain Managementu pro Servis a jeho klíčových procesů ve společnosti Škoda Transportation a. s. a na základě zjištěných skutečností navrhnout konkrétní doporučení pro zlepšení v oblastech s identifikovaným potenciálem pro optimalizaci. Teoretická část vymezuje klíčové pojmy a procesy, vývoj Supply Chain Managementu, jeho roli při budování konkurenční výhody, specifika poprodejních služeb a přístupy k hodnocení vyspělosti. V empirické části je aplikován konvergentní paralelní design smíšeného výzkumu, který kombinuje případovou studii s analýzou vyspělosti prostřednictvím dvou metodických rámců. Případová studie mapuje praktické fungování procesů na konkrétním příkladu. Hlavní část výzkumu představuje hodnocení vyspělosti pomocí dvou modelů, které identifikují silné i slabé stránky fungování útvaru Supply Chain Managementu pro Servis. Na závěr jsou navržena konkrétní opatření zaměřená na oblasti řízení informací, plánování, objednávání, řízení zásob, kontrolu a řízení rizik, jejichž cílem je zvýšení vyspělosti, efektivity a posílení konkurenční pozice společnosti v oblasti poprodejních služeb.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe objective of this master's thesis is to assess the maturity level of the Service Supply Chain Management department and its key processes within Škoda Transportation a. s., and to propose specific recommendations for improvement in areas with identified potential for optimization. The theoretical part defines key concepts and processes in Supply Chain Management, outlines its development, explains its role in building competitive advantage, explores the specifics of after-sales services, and introduces selected maturity assessment approaches. The empirical part applies a convergent parallel mixed methods research design, combining a case study with maturity evaluation using two distinct assessment frameworks. The case study provides a detailed view of process operations in a real-world context. The core of the research involves the use of two maturity models that help identify the department's strengths and weaknesses. Based on the findings, specific improvement measures are proposed in the areas of information management, planning, ordering, inventory control, monitoring, and risk management. These recommendations aim to enhance process maturity, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen the company's long-term competitiveness in the area of after-sales services.en
