| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zastoupení žen v managementu organizací. Cílem práce je zmapovat a zhodnotit současné zastoupení žen ve vrcholovém managementu vybraných organizací a navrhnout doporučení pro danou oblast. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmy související s oblastí managementu, genderu a diverzity, následně charakterizuje nejčastější společenské překážky v kariérním růstu žen a pojednává o pozitivním přínosu žen v managementu organizací. Závěrečná kapitola teoretické části shrnuje na základě statistických dat mapujících danou problematiku současné postavení žen v managementu na globální, evropské a tuzemské úrovni. Empirická část se skládá z analýzy poměrného zastoupení žen ve vrcholovém managementu firem z žebříčku CZECH TOP 100 podle obratu za rok 2020. Jedná se o kvantitativní šetření vycházející ze sekundárních dat získaných z veřejných rejstříků a výročních zpráv vybraných organizací. U společností je analyzováno zastoupení žen v rámci vrcholového vedení, za které jsou považováni členové statutárních a dozorčích orgánů. K naplnění uvedeného cíle práce vedou odpovědi na celkem tři formulované výzkumné otázky. V souladu se zjištěnými výsledky výzkumného šetření jsou v práci navržena doporučení pro zvýšení zastoupení žen ve vrcholovém vedení. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of women's representation in the management of organizations. The aim of the thesis is to map and evaluate the current representation of women in the senior management of selected organizations and to propose recommendations for the field. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to the field of management, gender and diversity, then characterizes the most common societal barriers to women's career growth and discusses the positive contribution of women in the management of organizations. The final chapter of the theoretical part is based on the statistical data and summarises the current position of women in management at the global, European and domestic level. The empirical part consists of an analysis of the relative representation of women in top management of companies from the CZECH TOP 100 ranking by turnover in 2020. It is a quantitative survey based on secondary data obtained from public registers and annual reports of selected organisations. There is analysed the representation of women in the senior management, which are considered to be members of the statutory authorities and supervisory boards. The answers to a total of three formulated research questions lead to the fulfilment of the stated objective of the thesis. In accordance with the findings of the research investigation, the thesis proposes recommendations for increasing the representation of women in senior management. | en |
