dc.description.abstractČlánek se zabývá porovnáním dvou největších producentů řepného cukru v regionu ČR a USA. Jedná se však nejen o porovnání z pohledu velikosti vlastní produkce, ale i z pohledu historického, geografického a sociálně ekonomického ve vztahu k regionům, ve kterých tito producenti působí a rozvíjí své aktivity. Dané srovnání by mělo mít za cíl objasnit vliv cukrovarnického průmyslu pro region malé země, jako je ČR, a oproti tomu USA jako jedné z největších světových velmocí.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe article deals with the comparison of the two largest sugar beet producers in the Czech Republic and the USA. However, it is not only a comparison from the point of view of the size of its own production, but also from a historical, geographical and socio-economic perspective in relation to the regions in which these producers operate and develop their activities. The comparison should aim to clarify the influence of the sugar industry on a small country region such as the Czech Republic and, on the other hand, the US as one of the world's largest superpowers.en
