| dc.description.abstract | Nemaje jasnou definici, wabi-sabi (možný zápis též wabi sabi) je jednou z hříček japonské filozofie, která si našla místo v různých uměleckých konceptech po celém světě. I když je slovně obtížné předat význam tohoto světonázoru, pro lepší pochopení lze tento termín rozdělit na dvě části, kde wabi představuje způsob myšlení, který si cení pokory a jednoduchosti na cestě ke spokojenosti, zatímco sabi nese hlubokou a klidnou krásu v otisku času. Ovládnutí umění wabi-sabi je do jisté míry schopností rozpoznat estetiku na nečekaných, "nevhodných" místech, v závislosti na naší touze a našich zkušenostech, kterými jsme prošli. Vyrostla jsem v nepříjemné blízkosti ruské federace, proto se postsovětská estetika (obzvláště panelových sídlišť) stala neoddělitelnou součástí mé identity a nepochybně ovlivnila utváření osobního vkusu. Zejména proto mě fascinuje české kulturní dědictví socialistického období, jeho jedinečné bizarní kombinace stylů v umění a architektuře. Tato práce je mou reakcí na umělecká díla období normalizace, tedy výsledek vládního usnesení o povinnosti vyčlenit z projektového rozpočtu nových obytných celků 1-4 % na výzdobu veřejného prostoru. Projekt "Ležící žena" předává mé vnímání sochařství, které je často považováno za ošklivé nebo dokonce ignorováno, jeho wabi sabi estetiku: krásu ošoupanou časem v moderní realitě. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | Without a clear definition, wabi-sabi (also written as wabi sabi) is one of the playful concepts of Japanese philosophy, which has found its way into various artistic approaches around the world. Although the meaning of this worldview is difficult to convey in words, the term can be better understood when divided into two parts, where wabi represents a way of thinking that values humility and simplicity on the path to contentment, while-sabi embodies a profound and tranquil beauty imprinted by the passage of time. Mastering the art of wabi sabi is, to some extent, the ability to recognize aesthetics in unexpected or "inappropriate" places, dependent on our desires and the experiences we have gone through.<br>I grew up uncomfortably close to the russian federation, and thus, the post-Soviet aesthetic (particularly that of panel housing estates) became an inseparable part of my identity and undoubtedly influenced the formation of my personal taste. This is precisely why I am fascinated by the Czech cultural heritage of the socialist era, with its unique and bizarre combinations of styles in art and architecture. This work is my response to the artistic creations of the normalization period, which resulted from a government resolution mandating that 1-4% of the project budget for new residential complexes be allocated to public space decoration. The Ležící žena (Reclining Woman) project reflects my perception of sculptures that are often considered ugly or even ignored, presenting their wabi-sabi aesthetic: the beauty worn down by time in modern reality. | en |
