dc.description.abstract-translatedThe article focuses on the connection between a urgent legal interest and the fundamental, constitutionally guaranteed right to judicial protection, or the right of access to the courts. The article also deals with the procedural requirement of a urgent legal interest, the fulfilment of which is considered by the courts, in accordance with or contrary to the right to judicial protection and thus enables the plaintiff to effectively assert his rights before independent and impartial courts. For this reason, the article provides a brief insight into the issue of urgent legal interest and the right to judicial protection, and subsequently highlights the nature of the urgent legal interest and the claim for determination, which must be understood in order to properly place the requirement of an urgent legal interest in the context of the right to judicial protection or the right of access to the courts.en
