Abstract
On Sunday, November 30, 2025, the Prague Philharmonia Orchestra presented its first Advent concert to audiences in Dvořák Hall at Prague's Rudolfinum. Under the baton of its chief conductor Emmanuel Villaume, the orchestra performed classical compositions by Mozart and Haydn, accompanied by neoclassical compositions by Francis Poulenc. The soloist for the evening was star flutist Emmanuel Pahud, principal flutist of the Berlin Philharmonic. The packed hall applauded enthusiastically after each piece, with loud cries of "bravo" ringing out. The soloist and orchestra then performed an extensive encore.
