dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce Stoická etika se zaměřuje na porovnání vybraných etických problémů dvou hlavních filosofických směrů helénistického období, stoicismu a epikúreismu. Práce začíná úvodem do historického kontextu. U obou směrů je pojednáno, jaký mají základ a jaká je jejich povaha. Obě koncepce se zabývají smyslem života a jak v životě dojít blaženosti. Každá ze škol vychází ze stejného základu, ale odpovědi na určené otázky se liší. V obou případech jsou vyložena filosofická pojetí cíle života i zásadní překážky, které dosažení cíle brání. Stoikům jde o překonání afektů, Epikúrovi o zbavení se strachu. Pozornost se klade také na pojetí duše, ctnosti, bohů, nebo na pojetí smrti. V závěru jsou uvedeny styčné i rozdílné body obou směrů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe Bachelor´s thesis Stoic Ethics focuses on the comparison of selected ethical issues of two leading philosophical schools of the Hellenic period: Stoicism and Epicureanism. The thesis begins with an introduction to the historical context. In both cases, the basis premise, along with the purpose and disposition of the schools, is explored and explained. Both concepts deal with the meaning of life and how to reach what each philosophy believes to be the beatitude of life. Each of the school is rooted in the same basic concept, but the answear on stated questions differ. In both, there are explained philosophical conceptions of the life goal and major obstacles that hinder achievement of this goal. The Stoics strive to overcome their passions, while the Epicurus strive to get rid themselves of fear. Both also wrestle with the concept of the soul, virtue, Gods and death. The conclusion of the thesis lists interfaces or similarities and the differences between the conceptions and philosophies.en
