dc.description.abstractPráce se skládá ze čtyř samostatných kapitol. První část pojednává o životě Milana Machovce, což určitým způsobem přiblíží pozadí pro chápání jeho hledání smyslu lidské existence. Druhá kapitola se týká ústředního tématu jeho filozofie, tedy otázky hledání smyslu lidského života, o němž vydal celkem tři publikace: O smyslu lidského života (1957), Smysl lidského života (1965) a Smysl lidské existence (2002). Pozornost je věnována obzvláště poslední z nich. V této monografii se totiž Machovec snažil hledat a nalézt smysl života z toho důvodu, aby člověk jako druh přežil. Prostřednictvím pojmů jako "Bůh", "Fetiš", "Vesmír", "Humanismus" a především "Dialog", které jsou v práci podrobněji rozebrány, je naznačeno, jak je možné objevit cestu k sebezáchově lidstva a tím vlastně též nalézt smysl lidského života. Třetí úsek práce se zaobírá Machovcovým pojetím ženy. Tu totiž považuje za jeden z nejdůležitějších činitelů záchrany lidstva. V poslední čtvrté části je pak nastíněno, jak byl Machovec coby filozof vnímán svými kolegy a studenty.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis consists of four separate chapters. The first chapter deals with the life of Milan Machovec, underlining partially the background for perception of his search for the meaning of the human existence. The second chapter regards the fundamental topic of his philosophy ? the questions of searching the meaning of the human life about which he published three works: About the Meaning of the Human Life (1957), The Meaning of the Human Life (1965) and The Meaning of the Human Existence (2002). Attention is paid especially to the latter one. In this monograph Machovec tried to search and find the meaning of life so that the man could survive as a species. Through the terms such as the "God", "Fetish", "Universe", "Humanism" and first and foremost the "Dialogue" which are analyzed in detail in the thesis, he indicates how to discover the way to self-preservation of the mankind and, simultaneously, to find the meaning of the human life. The third part of the thesis deals with the Machovec?s concept of woman. He considers a woman to be one of the most important factors to save the mankind. In the last part it is outlined how Machovec was perceived among his colleagues and students as a philosopher.en
