Vzpomínka na profesora Otto Tomečka a jeho spolupráci s Pedagogickou fakultou v Hradci Králové

Abstract

V závěru roku 2024 jsme si připomněli již dvacáté výročí odchodu našeho vzácného kolegy a přítele prof. RNDr. Otto Tomečka, Ph.D., Dr. h. c., emeritního rektora a profesora Katedry chemie Fakulty přírodních věd Univerzity Mateja Bela, hlavního iniciátora vzájemných vztahů mezi vysokými školami v družebních městech Banská Bystrica a Hradec Králové. V této souvislosti chtěli autoři tímto sdělením připomenout, jak obsáhlé, mnohotvárné a záslužné byly aktivity profesora Tomečka v oblasti spolupráce Katedry chemie Pedagogické fakulty Univerzity Hradec Králové a Katedry chemie Fakulty přírodních věd Univerzity Mateja Bela v Banské Bystrici a vytvořily tak do budoucna prostor pro další formy vzájemné spolupráce, která dále úspěšně pokračovala a trvá dodnes.

At the end of 2024, we commemorated the twentieth anniversary of the passing of our dear colleague and friend Prof. RNDr. Otto Tomeček, Ph.D., Dr. h. c., Emeritus Rector and Professor of the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University, the main initiator of mutual relations between universities in the twin cities of Banská Bystrica and Hradec Králové. In this context, the authors wanted to use this message to recall how extensive, multifaceted and meritorious were the activities of Professor Tomeček in the field of cooperation between the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Education, University of Hradec Králové and the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, and thus created space for other forms of mutual cooperation in the future, which has continued successfully and continues to this day.
