dc.description.abstractTato práce se zabývá užíváním výtvarných děl v učebních materiálech anglického jazyka. Shromážděná data o výtvarných dílech z pěti různých sad anglických učebnic pro dospělé studeny, tvoří základ pro výzkum zaměřený na pochopení účelu vizuálních komponentů v těchto učebnicích. Výzkum je zaměřen na tři hlavní oblasti: stáří uměleckých děl, výtvarný styl uměleckých děl a na kontrast jejich původního náboženského účelu v kontextu současného výukového materiálu. Z umělců, jejichž díla byla v učebnicích použita, jsou vybráni tři, kteří byli v podobě svých prací prezentováni nejčastěji. Blížeji jsou tito umělci představeni v krátkých profilech. Cílem této práce bylo ukázat, jak výtvarné umění přispívá k učebnímu procesu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis deals with the use of visual art in English language teaching materials. The specific aim of this thesis is to examine the occurrence of visual art and how it contributes to the learning process. The gathered data about the works of art from five different sets of English textbooks for adult learners make the base for research focused on understanding the purposes of the visual components within the textbooks. The research is built around three main topics: the age of the works of art, the visual style of works of art, and on contrast between their original religion purposes in context of present-day teaching language material. Other additional information about works of art and artists is also included in the thesis. The thesis deals with the use of visual art in English language teaching materials. The specific aim of this thesis is to examine the occurrence of visual art and how it contributes to the learning process.
