| dc.description.abstract | Tématem této bakalářské práce je zmapování nelehké a dlouhotrvající cesty žen k rovnoprávnosti v přístupu k vědění, přístupu ke knihám, které vědění zprostředkovávají, a přístupu ke vzdělání. Při této složité cestě ženy k rovnoprávnému postavení a vzdělání byla velice důležitým komponentem právě kniha. Kniha je nositelem inspirace ke změnám. Díky knihám může dojít ke změně vnitřního světa každého čtenáře, ale i ke změnám vnějšího světa a jeho dění. Ženy byly po staletí uměle odsouvány muži z centra vědění i dění, byly nucené své nadání potlačovat a realizovat se pouze jako manželky, matky a hospodyně. Jen výjimečně se v minulosti některým ženám podařilo své schopnosti uplatnit i mimo prostor domácnosti. Práce se zaměřuje především na společenské postavení a možnost přístupu žen ke vzdělání, ke knihám a k informacím v různých historických dobách. Dále pojednává o několika konkrétních významných ženách, které se zasloužily velkým dílem o pokrokové změny v postavení žen a možnosti jejich vzdělávání a profesním uplatnění. Získaná možnost neomezeného přístupu žen ke knihám a vědění přinesla světu vzdělané a sebevědomé ženy, které mají plnohodnotný přínos pro společnost, v obdobné míře jako muži. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis is concerned with mapping a women's long and arduous journey to equal rights in terms of their access to science and access to literature and education. The most significant means on the women's difficult journey to the equality and education was just a book as it conveys the knowledge and carries the inspiration to make changes. Via books the inner world of every reader as well as the outer world and its course of events can undergo changes. For many centuries women had been pushed away from the centre of science and events by men. They were mostly forced to suppress their abilities and they fulfilled themselves merely as wives, mothers and housewives, except for some few women who achieved success beyond the household. The thesis focuses particularly on women's social status and on the possibility of access to education, literature and information within various historical periods. Furthermore, the thesis deals with a number of notable women who considerably contributed to progressive changes in women's social status as well as to facilities for their education and vocational achievement. The acquired possibility of unlimited access to books and science has given the world many educated and self-confident women who have made an adequate contribution to society, nearly as much as men have done. | en |
