dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku udržitelnosti v sektoru malých a středních podniků působících ve velkoobchodu a maloobchodu. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je provést analýzu reportů udržitelnosti pro zvolený sektor MSP. První část práce se zaměřuje na vymezení teoretických východisek, která jsou klíčová pro pochopení udržitelnosti. V teorii je představen pojem udržitelnost, jeho historický vývoj a reporting. Dále je teoretická část věnována představení konkrétních standardů a iniciativ, které se svým obsahem věnují problematice udržitelnosti. Podrobněji je rozebrána legislativa CSRD a VSME standard, které mají na další části této diplomové práce klíčový dopad. Praktická část práce podrobně vymezuje zvolený sektor MSP, ze kterého je následně zvolen vzorek podniků k následné analýze. Analýza reportů udržitelnosti vybraných podniků hodnotí šest oblastí - strategii a implementaci SDGs, pravidelnost tvorby reportingu udržitelnosti, certifikace spojené s udržitelností a o tři oblasti spojené s přístupem ESG (environmentální a sociální oblast a správné řízení). Výsledky praktické části diplomové práce poukazují na nadprůměrné množství vykazovaných informací v rámci reportingu udržitelných aktivit. V závěrečné kapitole jsou představeny návrhy pro MSP ze sektoru velkoobchodu a maloobchodu.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis focuses on the issue of sustainability in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in the wholesale and retail sector. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse sustainability reports within the selected SME sector. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical foundations essential for understanding the concept of sustainability. It introduces the term sustainability, its historical development, and sustainability reporting. Furthermore, this theoretical section presents specific standards and initiatives that address sustainability-related issues. Particular attention is given to the CSRD legislation and the VSME standard, as both have a significant impact on the practical part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis outlines the selected SME sector and defines a sample of companies chosen for subsequent analysis. The analysis of the sustainability reports of the selected companies evaluates six key areas: strategy and implementation of the SDGs, the regularity of sustainability reporting, sustainability-related certifications, and three ESG-related dimensions (environmental, social, and governance). The findings of the practical part of the thesis indicate an above-average level of reported information regarding sustainable activities. The final chapter presents recommendations for SMEs in the wholesale and retail sector.en
