Umělecký jazyk jako jazyk počitků v myšlení Josého Gila

Abstract

Studie se zaměřuje na otázku statusu a povahy uměleckého jazyka. Zkoumá úvahy současného portugalského filozofa José Gila, který se touto otázkou opakovaně zabýval. Článek srovnává Gilovy názory s některými dřívějšími přístupy, zejména s pojetím vztahu mezi nejazykovými symbolickými systémy a jazyky Nelsona Goodmana a s pojetím rozdílu mezi symptomem a symbolem Susanne Langerové. Studie vyzdvihuje zejména Gilovo pojetí uměleckého jazyka jako uspořádání chaosu a vztahu mezi odlišnými počitky. V tomto kontextu je možné hovořit o syntaxi a gramatice „intervalu“.

The study focuses on the question of the status and nature of artistic language. It examines the reflections of the contemporary Portuguese philosopher José Gil, who has repeatedly addressed this question. The paper compares Gil’s views with some earlier approaches, in particular Nelson Goodman’s conception of the relationship between nonlinguistic symbolic systems and languages and Susanne Langer’s conception of the distinction between symptom and symbol. In particular, the study highlights Gil’s conception of artistic language as an ordering of chaos and the relationship among different sensations. In this context,it is possible to talk about the syntax and grammar of “interval”.
