| dc.description.abstract | Filozofický ústav v Plzni existoval v letech 1804-1849. Jako instituce vyššího vzdělání hrál klíčovou roli v kulturních a intelektuálních dějinách nejen svého domovského města, ale i celého regionu. Během první poloviny 19. století jej navštěvovaly bezmála tři tisíce posluchačů. Tito studenti pocházeli z rozličného sociálního zázemí, a to jak městského, maloměstského i vesnického prostředí. Přesto lze vysledovat některé společné prvky, které žáci filozofického ústavu sdíleli. Prostřednictvím analýzy původu a společenského postavení studujících zamýšlí tato studie přispět k výzkumu dějin filozofických ústavů a jejich role v Čechách 1. poloviny 19. století. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The Philosophical Institute in Pilsen existed between the years 1804-1849. As an institution of higher education, it played an important role in the cultural and intellectual history not only of Pilsen but also of the whole region. Almost 3,000 students attended it during the first half of the 19th century. Their origins varied considerably. The students came from various backgrounds – cities, towns, and villages. Even so, some similarities can be found among the Institute’s students. This article aims to contribute to the study of the history of the Philosophical Institute and its role in Bohemia through an analysis of the origin and social structure of the students in Pilsen. | en |
