Optimistická představa o vytvoření jedné, globální světové společnosti, jejíž vývoj bude kontrolován a regulován v duchu idejí humanismu, vědecko-technického řízení ap. se ukazuje jako obtížně realizovatelná. Myšlenka sama je důsledkem kontinuálního vývoje myšlení Okcidentu. V článku je odkaz na systémovou teorii N. Luhmanna, na jeho pojetí samovývoje společnosti, autopoietického systému. V protikladu k představám o možnosti realizace velkých idejí spojených s odstraňováním všeho co tomu brání věnuje Liumann pozornost kontingentním

The article is about a new view of the modern technical society. An optimistic idea of the creation of one, global world society, whose development will be controlled and regulated in the spirit of humanism, scientific and technical management, etc. is proving difficult to realise. The idea itself is the result of the continuous development of Occidental thought. In the article there is a reference to the system theory of N. Luhmann, to his concept of the self-development of society, the autopoietic system. In contrast to the notion of the possibility of the realization of great ideas connected with the elimination of everything that prevents it, Liumann pays attention to the contingent.
