dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na význam Business Intelligence pro management organizace. Teoretická část práce vysvětluje pojem Business Intelligence, jeho vývoj v čase a hlavní aplikační oblasti BI. Dále se zabývá technickou perspektivou a strukturou komponent BI a konkrétními benefity a bariérami BI. V analytické části práce jsou zkoumány softwarové nástroje a výsledky dotazníkového šetření, které zkoumá postoj vybraných podniků z České republiky k správě dat a informačnímu systému Business Intelligence. Práce obsahuje doporučení na zlepšení pro zkoumanou část podniků. Celkově lze říci, že tato práce přispívá k lepšímu pochopení významu a přínosů Business Intelligence pro management organizace a nabízí konkrétní doporučení pro jeho využití v praxi.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis focuses on the importance of Business Intelligence for the management of an organization. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the concept of Business Intelligence, its evolution over time and the main application areas of BI. It also discusses the technical perspective and structure of BI components and the specific benefits and barriers of BI. The analytical part of the thesis examines software tools and the results of a questionnaire survey that investigates the attitude of selected enterprises from the Czech Republic towards data management and Business Intelligence. The thesis contains recommendations for improvement for the surveyed enterprises. Overall, this thesis contributes to a better understanding of the importance and benefits of Business Intelligence for organizational management and offers specific recommendations for its use in practice.en
