dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá využitím canisterapie u seniorů. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda pravidelné provozování canisterapie v rezidenčním zařízení pro seniory má vliv na sociální, psychickou i fyzickou pohodu klienta. Je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první, teoretické části, rozebírá základní pojmy související s canisterapií a stářím. Také se zaměřuje na použitelnost canisterapie u různých typů postižení. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na kvalitativní výzkum. Ten je prováděn formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a pozorování. Výsledkem jsou tři ucelené případové studie, které jsou srovnávány ve shrnutí šetření. Výzkum prokázal, že canisterapie má podstatný vliv na sociální fungování obyvatelů domova pro seniory. Zároveň zlepšuje aktuální psychický stav a odpoutává pozornost klienta od vlastních fyzických potíží.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe Bachelor thesis deals with the use of canistherapy for the elderly. Its aim is to determine whether the regular operation of canistherapy in residential institutions for the elderly, has an impact on the social, psychological and physical well-being of the client. It is divided into two parts. In the first, a theoretical part, discusses the basic concepts related to the canistherapy and old age. It also focuses on the application of canistherapy for different types of disabilities. The practical part of the work is focused on qualitative research. This is implemented in the form of semi-structured interview and observation. The result is three comprehensive case studies, which are compared in the summary of the investigation. Research has shown that canistherapy has a significant impact on the social functioning of the inhabitants of the home for the elderly. At the same time it improves the current mental state and absorbs the attention of the client from their physical problems.en
