Jan Nepomuk Alois Hanke z Hankensteina

Abstract

Heslo v odborné encyklopedii pojednávající o Janu Nepomukovi Aloisi Hanke z Hankensteina. Patřil k významným moravským humanistům a k předním představitelům moravského osvícenství konce 18. století. Po studiu práv ve Vídni od roku 1777 působil jako konzervátor a od roku 1785 jako univerzitní knihovník v Olomouci. Vyučoval také mladé šlechtice českému jazyku na rytířské akademii Ferdinand Teufenbachové. Od roku 1796 byl nositelem šlechtického titulu von Hankenstein.The encyclopaedia entry deals with the Jan Nepomuk Alois Hanke of Hankenstein. Jan Nepomuk was one of the important Moravian humanists and a leading representative of the Moravian Enlightenment of the late 18th century. After studying law in Vienna, he worked as a conservator from 1777, and as university librarian in Olomouc from 1785. He also taught Czech language to young noblemen at the Knight academy of Ferdinand Teufenbach. From 1796 he was the bearer of noble title “von Hankenstein”.
