dc.description.abstract-translatedThe issue of Islam is a crucial one in current Czech politics. These topics can be found in everyday social conversation, debates held in political institutions, and in the media. This critically poised essay consists of three main parts. Firstly, the author deals with Czech President Miloš Zeman’s attitudes towards Islam. Secondly, text comments on Czech party programs and their statements related to immigration, Islam (especially in the context of political populism), etc. And finally, study shows some example of Czech “haters” and their hateful perception of Islam and immigration.en
