dc.description.abstractJako téma své bakalářské práce jsem si vybrala Knihtisk ve Vimperku. Nejprve popisuji vývoj knihtisku, práci J. Gutenberga a počátky knihtisku v Čechách. Poté zmiňuji Johana Alakrawa, který v roce 1484 začal ve Vimperku tisknout knihy. Jeho následovníkem byl Jan Steinbrener. Založil tiskařskou dílnu ve Vimperku téměř 400 let po Alakrawovi. Tradice byla předávána z generace na generaci. To skončilo po 2. světové válce. Steinbrenerovi byli vyhoštěni z Vimperka a jejich firma byla připojena k tiskárnám Stráž Plzeň. Provoz tiskáren Stráž ve Vimperku skončil v roce 2003. Jeden z potomků Jana Steinbrenera se pokusil obnovit tiskařskou tradici. Jeho firma fungovala 16 let. Dnes jsou ve Vimperku dvě tiskařské firmy. dc.description.abstract-translatedI chose book printing in Vimperk as a topic of my bachelor thesis. At first I described development, work of J. Gutenberg and beginning of book printing in Bohemia. After that I mention Johan Alakraw, who started printing books in Vimperk in 1484. His follower was Jan Steinbrener. He set up bookbinding workshop in Vimperk almost four hundred years after Alakraw. The tradition was handed down from generation to generation. It ended after World War II. The Steinbrener?s family was pushed away from Vimperk and their factory was attached to printing company Stráž Plzeň. Operation of factory in Vimperk was stopped in 2003, because Stráž Plzeň ceased to exist. One descendant of Jan Steinbrener tried to start again. His firm persists for sixteen years. Today, there are two printing offices in Vimperk. At last I explain techniques of making books and printing methods.en
