dc.description.abstractPředmětem této studie je analýza rozhodovacích mechanismů při odměňování v rámci experimentálního prostředí gift-exchange, se zaměřením na vliv skuteč- ného úsilí agenta a externích náhodných šoků na rozhodování principála. Cílem výzkumu bylo ověřit, zda je odměna určována primárně na základě agentova vynaloženého úsilí, nebo zda principál bere v potaz celkový výkon, který může být ovlivněn faktory mimo kontrolu agenta. Experiment inspirovaný studií Rubin & Sheremeta (2016) byl realizován pomocí platformy oTree umožňující simulaci interakcí mezi účastníky v kontrolovaném prostředí. Výsledky ukázaly tendenci principálů zohledňovat celkový výkon místo skutečného úsilí agenta, avšak vliv náhodného šoku nebyl statisticky významný. Závěry práce tak naznačují, že ač- koliv sociální preference mohou vstupovat do rozhodovacích procesů, jejich dopad není v tomto kontextu jednoznačně prokazatelný. Studie přispívá k empirickému porozumění dynamiky spravedlivého odměňování a představuje výchozí bod pro další výzkum v oblasti behaviorální ekonomie a pracovních vztahů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis study analyzes decision-making mechanisms in the context of a gift-exchan- ge experimental environment, focusing on the role of the agent's actual eff ort and external random shocks in the principal's reward decisions. The aim of the research was to determine whether the agent's reward is primarily based on their exerted eff ort or whether the principal considers overall performance, which may be infl uenced by factors beyond the agent's control. The experiment, inspired by Rubin & Sheremeta (2016), was conducted using the oTree platform, which allows for the simulation of participant interactions in a controlled setting. The results indicate a tendency among principals to reward based on overall perfor- mance rather than the agent's actual eff ort, although the eff ect of random shocks was not statistically signifi cant. These fi ndings suggest that while social preferen- ces may infl uence decision-making processes, their impact in this context is not conclusively demonstrable. The study contributes to the empirical understanding of fair compensation dynamics and serves as a foundation for further research in behavioral economics and labor relations.en
