| dc.description.abstract-translated | Legal status of a senior employee in the legal system of the Czech Republic Who is „senior emploee“, where we can find this institute of law in czech legal system and what it takes to become one? That is subject of this article. Sen ior employee is defined by § 11 of the Labour Code and its legal regulation is completed with jurisprudence. Law defines most importat conditions for the funnction of senior employee and rights and duties that are conected with it, espacially special rights and duties as duty of care for the safety and helth of subordinate employees, or right to get financial compensation for greater responsibility. According to jurisprudence of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic senior employee stands between employer and subordinates, but relationship between senior employee and employer is still based on § 6 of the Labour Code and senior employee is still subordinate to employer. | en |
