| dc.description.abstract | Hlavním cílem práce bylo zhodnotit připravenost České republiky na vstup do eurozóny a přijetí eura místo dosavadní národní měny. Úvodní část práce se zaměřuje na charakterizování měnové unie, stručnou historii Evropské unie a definuje eurozónu. Dále jsou zmíněna a popsána konvergenční kritéria a Pakt stability a růstu. Hlavní část bakalářské práce je věnována České republice a euru. V této kapitole je popsána Národní koordinační skupina pro euro, rozebrán Národní plán přijetí eura a také analyzováno plnění konvergenčních kritérií Českou republikou. Detailně jsou rozebrány předpokládané přínosy přijetí eura, ale také náklady a rizika s tím spojené. V práci jsou uvedeny i názory široké veřejnosti na vstup do eurozóny, výroky kandidátů na prezidenta republiky v minulém volebním období či doporučení exguvernérů a současného guvernéra ČNB. Závěr práce shrnuje nejdůležitější poznatky z jednotlivých kapitol a představuje vlastní názor autorky na vstup ČR do eurozóny. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The main aim of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate the readiness of the Czech Republic to join the euro area and to adopt the euro instead of the current national currency. The introductory part of the thesis focuses on the description of the monetary union, the brief history of the European Union and defines the euro area. Furthermore, the convergence criteria and the Stability and Growth Pact are mentioned and described. The main part of the thesis is devoted to the Czech Republic and the euro. This chapter describes the National Euro Coordination Group, analyzes the National Euro Adoption Plan and also analyzes the fulfillment of the convergence criteria by the Czech Republic. The expected benefits of adopting the euro, as well as the costs and risks associated with it, are discussed in detail. The thesis also presents the views of the general public on joining the euro area, the statements of the presidential candidates in the previous parliamentary term or the recommendations of the ex-governors and the current CNB governor. The conclusion summarizes the most important findings from individual chapters and presents the author's own opinion on the Czech Republic's accession to the euro area. | en |
