dc.description.abstractTato práce se zabývá tématem smrti v renesanční filosofii a literatuře se zaměřením na dílo Michel de Montaigne a Williama Shakespeara. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části je uvedeno téma smrti do dějinného kontextu. V druhé části jsou předvedeny názory na smrt a její podoby. U Montaigne jsou zkoumány jeho pohledy na smrt, o kterých píše ve svém díle Eseje, a na jednotlivé formy smrti: vraždu, sebevraždu a přirozenou smrt. U Shakespeara je záměrem zjištění, jak podával jednotlivé způsoby smrti ve vybraných třech tragédiích: Romeovi a Julii, Hamletovi a Králi Learovi.Třetí část je věnována souvislostem a rozdílům mezi autory a porovnání jejich názorů na dané formy smrti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis work examines the topic of death in Renaissance philosophy and literature with a particular attention to Michel de Montaigne and William Shakespeare. The content is split into three parts. The first part explores the topic of death with regards to historical context. The second part deals with the opinion to death and its forms. Montaigne's Essays are examined with regards to the views of death that are split into a number of forms: murder, suicide and natural death. However, in Shakespeare's case, the point is to describe the way he is presenting different ways of death. Three particular plays are used as the source of analysis: Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and King Lear.The third part compares similarities and differences in perspective to various forms of death between both authors.en
