Fantazie na klávesách staletí: Alexander Melnikov a jeho kaleidoskopický stroj času

Abstract

V rámci mezinárodního Klavírního festivalu Rudolfa Firkušného v Praze vystoupil ve Dvořákově síni Rudolfina Alexander Melnikov. Skladby baroka, rokoka, klasicismu, romantismu a hudby 20. století provedl na různé klávesové nástroje, tak, aby každá skladba zazněla na nástroj odpovídající době svého vzniku. Na pódiu bylo tedy rozestaveno pět různých nástrojů – jedno barokní cembalo, zbytek pak tvořili přímí předchůdci klavíru a moderní koncertní křídlo firmy Steinway & Sons. Koncert vzbudil mimořádnou pozornost a přilákal velké množství posluchačů. Po neutuchajícím potlesku pianista přidal ještě rozsáhlou Fantazii C dur od Franze Schuberta, známou jako „Wanderer-Fantasie“.

Alexander Melnikov performed at the Dvořák Hall of the Rudolf Rudolfinum in Prague as part of the Rudolf Firkušný International Piano Festival. He performed compositions of Baroque, Rococo, Classical, Romantic and 20th century music on various keyboard instruments, so that each piece was played on an instrument appropriate to the time of its composition. Thus, five different instruments were arranged on the stage - one baroque harpsichord, the rest were the direct predecessors of the piano and a modern concert grand piano by Steinway & Sons. The concert aroused extraordinary attention and attracted a large number of listeners. After unceasing applause, the pianist added Franz Schubert's extensive Fantasy in C major, known as the "Wanderer-Fantasie".
