dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá výběrem materiálu metodou profesora Michaela F. Ashbyho z Univerzity v Cambridgi. V práci je nejprve metoda obecně popsána a poté použita při výběru vhodných materiálů pro rámy jízdních kol. Takto vybrané materiály se shodují s těmi, které byly nalezeny při rešeršní činnosti. Metoda prof. Ashbyho tedy byla úspěšně ověřena a její výsledky odpovídají konstrukční praxi. Pro vizualizaci problematiky jsou v databázi Granta vytvářeny mapy vlastností materiálů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedBachelor thesis deals with the selection of the right material using the method made by Cambridge University Professor Michael F. Ashby. His method is briefly explained and then used for selecting the right bicycle frame material. Materials selected using Ashby's method are the same as the materials bicycle frames are actually made of. According to this outcome, Ashby's method is suitable and reliable for the material selection in the design process. The whole problem can be visualised creating material property charts in material database made by Granta Design company.en
