Sborový zpěv – básník – skladatel – sbormistr

Abstract

Studie analyzuje vztah textu a hudby ve sborové tvorbě v evropském i českém historickém kontextu. Sleduje vývoj od liturgického zpěvu přes romantický obrat k národní a společenské funkci sborového zpěvu až k současným estetickým a interpretačním otázkám. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována srozumitelnosti textu, deklamaci, artikulaci a výslovnosti a jejich vlivu na interpretační praxi. Studie reflektuje napětí mezi básníkem a skladatelem (např. Goethe – Zelter – Schubert), proměny dominance hudby nad slovem i specifika dětského repertoáru na textech Jiřího Žáčka. V závěru zdůrazňuje nezastupitelnou úlohu sbormistra jako prostředníka mezi textem, hudbou a posluchačem a chápe sborový zpěv jako významný kulturní a společenský fenomén.

The study explores the relationship between text and music in choral composition within both European and specifically Czech historical contexts. It traces the development from liturgical traditions through Romantic nationalism to contemporary aesthetic and performance ssues. Particular attention is given to textual intelligibility, declamation, articulation, pronunciation, and their impact on performance practice. The study reflects on the aesthetic tension between poet and composer (e.g., Goethe, Zelter, Schubert), the shifting balance between musical autonomy and verbal meaning,and discusses children’s choral repertoire using the poetry of Jiří Žáček as a case example. Finally, it highlights the essential role of the choir conductor as mediator between text, music, and audience, presenting choral singing as a cultural, social, and value-forming phenomenon.
