K hudebnímu zpracování veršů Es ist bestimmt in Gottes Rat a jejich výskytu v německojazyčných hudebních sbírkách a zpěvnících vzniklých mezi lety 1840–1930

Abstract

Text vychází z výsledků průzkumu realizovaného v rámci projektu NAKI Paměť hřbitovů. Kromě dalších cílů byl sledován také výskyt poetických náhrobních přípisů, mezi nimiž se poměrně hojně vyskytoval nápis Es ist bestimmt in Gottes Rat, dass man vom Liebsten, was man hat, muss scheiden, který je prvními verši jedné z básní rakouského básníka Ernsta von Feuchtersleben. Článek se blíže zabývá hudebním zpracováním těchto veršů a začleněnímjednoho z nich, písně F. Mendelssohna-Bartholdyho, do německojazyčných písňových sbírek a zpěvníků vzniklých mezi lety 1840 a 1930.

The text is based on the results of a survey conducted as part of the NAKI Memory of Cemeteries project. In addition to other objectives, the occurrence of poetic tombstone inscriptions was also monitored, among which the inscription Es ist bestimmt in Gottes Rat, dass man vom Liebsten, was man hat, muss scheiden (It is certain in God’s counsel that one must part with the dearest one has), which are the verses of one of the poems by theAustrian poet Ernst von Feuchtersleben, was quite abundant. The article looks more closely at the musical settings of these verses and the inclusion of one of them, F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy’s song, in German-language songbooks published between 1840 and 1930.
