dc.description.abstractFrancouzské výpůjčky v angličtině: Tato práce se zabývá jednak historií francouzských výpůjček a to s orientací na dobu po Bitvě u Hastings, kdy angličtinu (v té době ještě staroanglčtinu) zasáhl příliv francouzských slov a jednak na analýzu vybraných textů z moderních zdrojů s cílem zjistit procentuální zastoupení slov francouzského původu. Na počátku práce je uvedena definice výpůjček (borrowings) a několika dalších forem slovotvorby. Následující kapitola je věnována historii, přičemž je zmíněna i doba před nájezdem Normanů a poslední podkapitola je seznam tematicky rozdělených francouzských slov, které se staly součástí střendí angličtiny. Dálší kapitola pojednává o renesanci a zbytek práce je věnován analýze textů a práci s etymologickým slovníkem.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedFrench Loan-Words in English: This work deals with the history of French borrowings orienting on the period after the Norman Conquest when English (Old English) and with analysis of a few articles from modern sources aiming to determine the percentual representation of French loanwords. In the beginning of the work are multiple word-formation ways defined. The following chapter is dedicated to history, while the period before the Norman Conquest is mentioned and the last sub-chapter is a list of French loans that entered Entered Middle English. The next chapter discusses English during Renaissance and the rest of the work is dedicated to analysis of texts while using an etymology vocabulary.en
