dc.description.abstractTato práce analyzuje činnost dané firmy jako poskytovatele zasílatelských a logistických služeb. Pro realizaci práce bylo potřeba využívat interního zdroje podniku a konzultací se zaměstnanci a také odborná literatura. Na začátku práce je vymezen pojem logistika a její členění. Dále jsou uvedeny základní pojmy a logistické činnosti. Následující část je zaměřena na popis činnosti firmy Geis CZ s. r. o. a DPD CZ s. r. o. a jejími hlavními činnostmi. Součástí je také logistický řetězec, kde je definováný průběh přepravy. Dále je práce zaměřena na zákazníky a tvorbu ceny přepravy. V neposlední řadě jsou popsány informační technologie, které firma využívá. V poslední části jsou popsány doporučené návrhy pro zlepšení z hlediska spokojenosti zákazníků a poskytování kvalitních služeb.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis analyzes the activities of the company as a provider of freight forwarding and logistics services. For the realization of the work, it was necessary to use the company's internal resources and consultations with employees, as well as professional literature. At the beginning of the work, the concept of logistics and its division is defined. The following are the basic concepts and logistics activities. The following section focuses on the description of the activities of Geis CZ s.r.o. and DPD CZ s.r.o. and its main activities. A logistics chain is also a part of it, where the course of transport is defined. Furthermore, the work is focused on customers and the creation of the price of transport. Last but not least, the information technologies used by the company are described. The last part describes the recommended suggestions for improvement in terms of customer satisfaction and the provision of quality services.en
