| dc.description.abstract-translated | This paper proposes new soft-switching interleaved boost converters (SSIBC) for photovoltaic power generation systems. The SSIBCs presented comprises with additional dual and single auxiliary cells. The main active switches of these converters are able to provide zero voltage switching (ZVS) and zero current switching (ZCS) operation by means of dual auxiliary and single auxiliary cells, respectively. The proposed converters are capable to reduce turn on and turn off switching power losses with their soft-switching operation and consequently, they mitigate the overall efficiency. In addition, the auxiliary switches also achieve soft-turn on and turn off operation, during the total softswitching region of main switches. The detailed principle of operation and simulation evaluations presented in this paper validate the effectiveness and soft-switching ability of the proposed interleaved boost converters. | en |
