dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce poskytuje základní informace o eurozóně a procesu zavedení eura v České republice. Zabývá se historickými aspekty budování Evropské unie a Evropské hospodářské a měnové unie. Práce dále popisuje Maastrichtská konvergenční kritéria, která jsou nutná pro vstup do eurozóny. Ukazuje jejich konkrétní plnění Českou republikou a ostatními členskými či kandidátskými zeměmi. Práce informuje o harmonogramu zavedení eura v ČR, který je nazýván velkým třeskem. Práce také predikuje potenciální přínosy a náklady zavedení jednotné měny v České republice a hodnotí stav připravenosti ČR na přijetí této měny. Práce mimo jiné prezentuje názory veřejnosti a politických a ekonomických představitelů naší země.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis provides basic information about the Eurozone and about the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic. Historical aspects of building of the European Union and European Monetary Union are also discussed. This thesis describes the Maastricht convergence criteria that candidate countries must fulfil in order to be able to access the EMU. The thesis shows how the Czech Republic and other member countries and candidate states fulfil these criteria. Information about the timeline of the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic, i.e. Big Bang, is introduced too. This thesis predicts the potential contribution and disadvantages of this process in the Czech Republic and it at the same timer evaluates the state of preparedness of the Czech Republic. This thesis presents opinions of the public and of political and economic representatives of our country.en
