Analýza procesu substantivizace staročeského adjektiva dobrý (využití elektronické databáze slov a tvarů Dalimilovy kroniky)

Abstract

Ve studii představujeme elektronickou databázi indexu slov a tvarů Dalimilovy kroniky. Pozornost je věnována několika základním problémům, které byly řešeny při zpracování jazykového materiálu a které se mohou stát podnětem pro další zkoumání. Zároveň se zaměřujeme na dílčí problém substantivizace adjektiva dobrý. Na základě stanovených kritérií (kritérium motivace, kritérium syntaktické platnosti adjektiva, kritérium sémantické, kritérium variantního vyjádření na témže místě Dalimilovy kroniky) sledujeme, zda lze na základě shromážděného materiálu rozlišit jednotlivá stadia procesu přechodu adjektiva v substantivum. Analýza dokladů ukázala, že jako substantivizovaná adjektiva jsou nejčastěji doložena neutra, dále nacházíme rozdíly v motivaci doložených substantivizovaných adjektiv. Hodnocení adjektiv jako substantivizovaných je podporováno tím, že jsou dále determinována.This paper introduces an electronic database indexing the words and forms in the Dalimil Chronicle. Attention is given to several fundamental problems encountered during the processing of the linguistic material, which may serve as a stimulus for further research. Additionally, the paper focuses on the specific issue of the substantivization of the adjective dobrý (good). Based on established criteria (the criterion of motivation, the criterion of syntactic admissibility of the adjective, the semantic criterion, and the criterion of variant expression in identical contexts withinthe Dalimil Chronicle), we investigate whether the collected material allows us to distinguish individual stages in the process of the transition from an adjective to a noun. The analysis of the evidence showed that the most frequently attested substantivized adjectives are neuter. Furthermore, differences in the motivation behind the substantivized forms are observed. The evaluation of adjectives as substantivized is supported by the fact that they receive further syntactic determination.
