Abstract
V Kostele sv. Šimona a Judy realizovali 5. října 2024 Pražští komorní sólisté pod taktovkou Radka Baboráka svůj další tematicky zaměřený interpretační projekt. Nesl název Kafka & Z mého života. Zohlednil tedy výročí úmrtí slavného pražského spisovatele Franze Kafky a výročí narození a úmrtí Bedřicha Smetany. Autory nového aranžmá byli Radek Baborák a Marcel Kozánek. Obecenstvo přijalo všechny skladby velmi vstřícně a živě aplaudovalo po odeznění každé z nich.
On 5 October 2024, the Prague Chamber Soloists under the baton of Radek Baborák realized their next thematically focused performance project in the Church of St. Simon and Jude. It was entitled Kafka & From My Life. It commemorated the anniversary of the death of the famous Prague writer Franz Kafka and the anniversary of the birth and death of Bedřich Smetana. The Kafka theme was connected with two contemporary compositions, which were performed in the premiere. Their authors were Jana Vöröšová and Ivan Danko. After the intermission, the 1st String Quartet in E minor "From My Life" by Bedřich Smetana was included. However, it was performed in a world premiere version for string orchestra. The authors of the new arrangement were Radek Baborák and Marcel Kozánek. The audience received all the compositions very warmly and applauded live after each of them.
