dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá starostou obce v České republice. Zaměřuje se především na možnost zavedení přímé volby starostů v České republice. Stěžejním cílem této práce je navrhnout model přímé volby starostů, který by byl vhodný pro Českou republiku. Jsou zde řešeny především tyto základní otázky: zakotvení starosty v Ústavě, volební systém, změna postavení a pravomocí, odpovědnost za výkon funkce, zánik mandátu, odměňování a funkce místostarosty obce.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis diploma deals with the mayor of the municipality in the Czech Republic. It is primarily focuses on the possibility of introducing a direct election of mayors in the Czech Republic. The main objective of this diploma is to propose a model of direct election of mayors, which would be suitable for the Czech Republic. There are mainly solved these basic questions: the mayor's foundation in the constitution, the electoral system, the change of status and powers, the responsibility for the performance of the office, the termination of the mandate, the remuneration and the function of the deputy mayor.en
