Česká filharmonie předala silné protiválečné poselství

Abstract

Na svém dalším abonentním koncertě 14. února 2024 ve Dvořákově síni pražského Rudolfina provedla Česká filharmonie symfonii českého soudobého skladatele Ondřeje Kukala, orchestrální větu a písně Gustava Mahlera a symfonický opus Arthura Honeggera. Sólistou večera byl německý barytonista Christian Gerhaher. Provedení řídil Jakub Hrůša. V Mahlerových písních i v Honeggerově díle působil ve skrytu protiválečný apel. Ten podpořilo i dramatické vyhrocení Kukalovy hudby. Koncert byl přijat četným publikem jak po stránce dramaturgie večera, tak po stránce interpretace vybraných skladeb s velkými sympatiemi.At its next subscription concert on 14 February 2024 in the Dvořák Hall of Prague's Rudolfinum, the Czech Philharmonic performed a symphony by Czech contemporary composer Ondřej Kukal, an orchestral movement and songs by Gustav Mahler and a symphonic opus by Arthur Honegger. The soloist of the evening was German baritone Christian Gerhaher. The performance was conducted by Jakub Hrůša. In Mahler's songs and in Honegger's work there was a hidden anti-war appeal. This was supported by the dramatic escalation of Kukal's music. The concert was received with great sympathy by the large audience, both in terms of the dramaturgy of the evening and the interpretation of the selected pieces.
