K čemu archiv?

Abstract

Příspěvek nejprve stručně charakterizuje činnost archivů, jak ji vymezuje zákon, poté věnuje pozornost zajímavým nálezům zjištěným ve fondech Archivu města Plzně, Státním oblastním archivu v Plzni a Státním okresním archivu v Blovicích. Na základě studia archivních pramenů si pak všímá jistých vazeb a souvislostí v působení veřejně aktivních osobností. Závěrem přináší otázky spojené s uchováváním písemných pozůstalostí v majetku rodiny.The paper first briefly characterizes the work of archives as defined by the law, and then focuses on interesting findings found in the Pilsen City Archive, the State Regional Archive in Pilsen and the State District Archive in Blovice. On the basis of the study of archival sources, it then describes and emphasizes certain links and connections in the activities of publicly active personalities. Finally, it raises questions related to the preservation of written inheritance in the family property.
