dc.description.abstractV rámci mé bakalářské práce jsem vytvořila snubní prsteny pro lidi, které pojí dohromady osudové setkání na Ústavu umění a designu na Západočeské univerzitě v Plzni. Prsteny jsou určeny pro mé spolužáky Petru s Adamem, Zuzanu s Adamem a pro mne a mého přítele Jana. Prsteny pro Petru s Adamem jsou složeny z devíti ocelových kroužků, držících pohromadě pomocí magnetů a stočených do spirály. Prsteny pro Zuzanu s Adamem jsou inspirovány daty jejich narození v souvislosti s hvězdnými znameními a vytvořila jsem je z ořechového dřeva, šedého a červeného mastku a mosazi. Prsteny pro mne a mého přítele symbolizují kočky a jsou vyrobeny z mosazi a alpaky.cs
dc.description.abstract-translated?Wedding rings? is the theme of my Bachelor thesis. I have created wedding rings for four particular couples. Each of the couples is unique, each of the people within each couple is a unique person; yet every couple and every person have something in common: it is the coincidental meeting in The Institute of Art and Design at The University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. I have created the rings for my schoolmates Petra and Adam, Zuzana and Adam, Professor V. K. Novák and Ludmila Šikolová and for me and my partner Jan. The rings for Petra and Adam are made of nine separated steel rings, which are connected into a spring by magnets. Rings for Zuzana and Adam are made of walnut wood, grey talcum and red catlinite. The rings for me and my boyfriend are made of brass and alpaca. The rings consist of a couple of stylized cats: one of them is made of brass, the other is of alpaca. They are connected by crossing their tails at the bottom, while their ears meet at the upper end, leaving a small vane where the tail tips touch gently.en
