Abstract
This paper deals with detection of GNSS position and time spoofing. In particular, a statistical description of the spoofed signals is discussed, and the spoofing detection method is developed, where the estimated receiver clock bias is statistically analysed. The method compares the Allan variance of the bias with the bounds analytically calculated under nominal (model-based) conditions. The method is thoroughly validated through a Monte Carlo study, demonstrating the method’s ability to detect spoofing with a user-defined false alert rate.
