Chemical Experiment as a Support for Chemical Calculations Teaching

Abstract

Chemical calculations are one of the critical points in chemistry teaching at all levels of schools. The possible causes of students’ failure in solving selected chemical calculations are discussed in the paper. There are suggestions for practical tasks that can support teaching. The tasks are focused on the solution composition and calculations from chemical equations, they are suitable for elementary and high school students.
