dc.description.abstract-translatedNowadays, excessive use of the internet, apart from the many benefits it offers to users, can also have a negative impact. One of the most worrying aspects of this phenomenon is cyberstalking. Although the phenomenon of cyberstalking is increasing over time, there is insufficient information about the problem. The purpose of this literature review is to present the issue of online stalking and its impact on the lives of victims, to highlight the relationship between gender and stalking, and to refer to existing legislation against cyberstalking, as well as the problems arising from the inadequate training of the competent authorities. Finally, this study focuses on individuals who seek help after they have been cyberstalked, as well as the coping strategies they adopt to restore security in their daily lives
